No, you did not eat the bones... They just fell out on the way to your mouth. Cook 'em slow and they will fall apart faster than you can say "tender!"

What is "dry aged?"
Dry aging is done during the processing stage of beef production. Our beef is aged for 28 days in a temperature- and moisture- controlled facility. This decreases water, increases tenderness, and concentrates flavor. Stop paying for water and start buying from Upstream!
What does "all natural" mean?
All natural means we do not use hormones or implants to increase the performance in our animals, or use scheduled antibiotics as a means of keeping our animals healthy. However we still do believe it is unethical to leave a sick animal untreated and will administer antibiotics only in when it is absolutely needed.
Why all natural?
While we believe there are many ways farming can be done, we are extremely intentional – and proud – about everything we do. In our farming practices, we use many new and innovative techniques to become more environmentally sustainable while still refraining from the use of using hormones, implants, or antibiotics. This is because we are committed to you with the highest quality product possible.
Why not grass fed?
We believe that farming is not black and white, and our approach to many techniques usually involves the best of both worlds. That is why we start our calves on grass and finish them on grain. Our diversity allows us access the best grazing lands in the world, in the best climate, and on the best soils to raise corn, soybeans, and alfalfa hay for our beef. We use a combination of all of these feeds to provide you with the best product possible!
What does “quality forages and feeds” mean?
Sadly, “quality “is not a word commonly associated with commodity crops such as corn and soybeans. Overall our #2 dent corn does not vary in quality from any other farmer who raise #2 dent corn. It is the same across the industry. However, the way in which we choose to grow our crops allows us to produce more with less, bringing that “quality” word actual meaning. We can maximize the amount of grain and forage we are able to produce per acre of land, by understanding what our crops and land need to provide enough feed to our cattle, while still being mindful of the environment around us. We are here to not only provide quality beef but also to do it in a quality way. This means we will always feed our cattle with grain and forages that have been raised with the land, environment, and consumers in mind.
How does the ordering process work?
We process your order within 24 hours of being placed. Orders placed prior to 12:00 PM CST will have a higher probability -- yet still not guaranteed -- of shipping same day. Typical rule of thumb: order today, ships tomorrow.
Once processed, we'll place your order in high-grade, insulated packaging with multiple layers of dry ice to ensure your product does not thaw during the shipment process. Once your order is shipped, we will notify you with a tracking number so you know when your order arrives at your doorstep and is ready to devour.
And as always, take a picture of your meal and send it to us to be feature on our social media outlets!
